Chater's
An independent kitchen and bakery in Saffron Walden.
Chater's began with coffee, cake and Máire's baking, and grew into the restaurant it is now: an open kitchen, pasta made in-house, bread from the bakery upstairs, and a room built around eating and drinking well.
Founded by Max and Máire Chater with Dan Joines, Chater's has changed a lot since it opened. The bakery is still at the heart of it.
