We’ve always thought the best meals are the ones you share. Plates set down in the middle, spoons and forks reaching across, stories told as the candles burn lower. That’s the spirit we’ve captured with our festive menu at Chater’s.

It begins with a spread of small plates for the table — a way to open the evening, raise a glass, and settle in. Then comes a pasta, chosen together. For the main course, you’ll pick one dish to share, served with a few sides that celebrate the season. And finally, one dessert — something sweet to linger over at the end.

And because it’s christmas, a little excess never hurt. Optional extras? Steak tartare, oysters, perhaps a bottle of champagne or a round of negronis for the table. Entirely optional, entirely encouraged.

Simple, generous, and made for good company. Exactly how this time of year should be spent.

The menu is available for bookings of 6 or more people and priced at £65 per person.
